Achtung: Hot Pizza

Amy is about 20 weeks into her pregnancy. I guess I am a little late for most standards getting this blog started. Oh well...

Anyway, the most recent progress of the pregnancy has been interesting. Amy has been very emotional lately. It's actually quite funny. At one moment she will cry at a TV commercial and the next laughing hysterically. Both are so extreme that she can't stop either laughing or crying.

The funniest part is that she realizes that her emotions are strange, and that just makes her laugh more. Hmmm... Go figure?

Now what about the baby??? Well, Livy is doing very well. Amy can feel her move more and more. I can't wait until I can feel her all for myself.

I can really tell that Livy is growing becuase Amy's belly has expanded at a much higher rate lately that in the past. Apparently her belly will grow in phases.

The other recent drama has been over choosing a stroller. It seems like everyone has an opinion about what's best, and guess what? All of their opinions are different. Hmm... Maybe we'll just take a survey and the stroller with the most votes wins.

Later in November...

The stroller has been selected! One would think that you get some award or certificate once the selection is final, but I'm not holding my breath. After much searching and comparing features we went with a sensible choice of a Graco Metrolite LX. That baby is light as a feather, folds up to fit in a small car, and accepts an infant carrier. You would think that I was coveting the lastes Italian sports car, but nope.

I feel like now that the stroller is behind us, the other items will be much easier. We'll see. Maybe in October's blog.

Emotions and Hormones...

Who knew that hot pizza can draw tears, then laughs, then tears, then laughs again?

Jim Davenports Pizza in Mountain Brook Village. It was our first time at the local hotspot of a pizza joint, and we were with Stacy in Bryant. So the pizza arrived and Amy's first bite burnt her mouth. Pizza sauce can be very hot, so I'm sure it hurt a ton.

This is the point where the wheels fell off. Amy began to cry. Shortly after, she laughed becuase she realized that she was crying. Then cried. Then laughed. I just sat there in mere amazement. Hmmm... Aparently, Livy is really playing a toll on Amy. It's all fun though.
