The inventor of the Hawaiian shirt died. Alfred Shaheen pioneered the "aloha shirt" industry by turning it from a small local trade to a world-wide icon of pop culture. Really... Did I just say that?
Anyway, where would we be without this guy. Whether you think, hum, "that guy must be pretty confident wearing such a hideous shirt", or "wow, here comes the funny guy", our world would be less interesting without those crazy shirts.
